Just as every good farmer focuses all her attention on sustaining and enhancing the quality of the soil, every good organisational leader focuses all her attention on sustaining and enhancing the quality of the social field that she is responsible for.
How do we prepare and organize in a way that creates lasting positive impact while growing healthy, respectful relationships, and deep learning for each person involved?
How do we set up solid ground to stand on so we can meet and do work in the best possible way?
There is a clear need for more strategic conversations about what really matters, for innovative projects and visionary organizations. We all see that. What is often less visible is what level of organization is needed to ensure the success of these ideas and projects.
This 2-day introduction to Groundwork explores the nature of organizing and the foundations for collaboration. What are the conditions that are required for people to self-organize, do their best work, and have impact?
In this workshop we used the Groundwork framework to examine challenges within our projects, organizations, and initiatives. Whether you are about to start a collaborative initiative, or are looking to review your current projects, there will be many opportunities to share collective wisdom and experience with one another.
This workshop has now concluded. Sorry if you couldn't make it this time around.
